    A man from Selma has been arrested for allegedly running over a Hanford man and purposely killing him near Selma just after midnight on Monday, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said. The Sheriff's Office said Saul Sepulveda Mendoza, 31, was found sitting in his car at Highway 41 and Main Street in Stratford around 8:30 a.m., and was arrested on suspicion of murder.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office said Huron police were dispatched about midnight to report of a disturbance at 36700 S. Lassen Ave., but a second call led them to the man, who appeared to have gunshot injuries.
