    Hancock Town Administrator Diane Kendall, in an email to the Ledger-Transcript, confirmed that the N.H. Police Standards and Training Council restored police certification to Wood on Monday, Feb. 9. Wood's certification had been suspended as of Jan. 1 due to failure to pass required physical fitness tests. According to a letter to Wood from the New Hampshire' Police Standards & Training Council, Wood failed his three-year fitness test in 2012, placing his certification into a probationary status for up to two years.
