    The Hamlin Bobcats played host to Guyan Valley on Eighth Grade Night this past Monday and took two of the three contests played. The Bobcat Boys and Wildcats got into the usual barn burner with Hamlin going up 10-8 after the first period and made it 22-14 at the half.

    The Harts Lions have had a very successful year and continued on their way to avenging an earlier season loss to the Hamlin Bobcats by a score of 56-33 at Harts on Tuesday night as the Lions celebrated Eighth Grade Night. The first period was close with Harts holding a 14-12 advantage, but the Lions roared away by extending the lead to 30-17 at the half.

    Lincoln Nursing & Rehabilitation Center continues to receive high satisfaction scores from patients, families and employees according to a recent survey by My InnerView, an independent survey company that collects and analyzes data from more than 16,000 long-term care centers throughout the United States, conducted and analyzes the data gathered from the survey. Lincoln N&RC had 100% of residents and 91% of families who rated their overall satisfaction with facility services as "excellent and good,' and 94% of employees who rated their overall job satisfaction as "excellent and good.'

    Duval played host to Hamlin on Monday night at the David Kiser gymnasium and took all three games from the Bobcats. Both squads started slowly with Duval getting a 7-3 lead, but both teams found their offense in the second period by scoring 13 points each to make it 20-16 in favor of the Yellow Jackets at the half.
