Sam's Hamburgers & More, on the first floor of the 100 N. Main building, could be forced to close if the building's owner does not pay a delinquent MLGW balance by June 24. Odeh soon became the sole owner of the business, and in 2000 opened Sam's in a section of the first floor of 100 N. Main St ., the city's tallest building located at the southeast corner of Main and Adams Avenue near Civic Center Plaza.

Main St ., the city's tallest office building, has two weeks to pay the delinquent balance on the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division bill before utilities will be disconnected, a move that would catch a popular Downtown restaurant in the crossfire, according to a an executive at the publicly owned utility. Yitzchok "Isaac" Thomas and One Hundred North Main LLC must pay the $86,400 delinquent balance by June 24 or water and electric service will be cut off, said Bill Bullock , manager of commercial and industrial properties at MLGW.
