    Fitchburg State freshman forward Matthew Krikorian of Groton was recently named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Division 3 New England men's soccer Rookie of the Year. Krikorian, who was also named an ECAC Division 3 New England men's soccer first-team all-star, had a breakout rookie campaign, totaling a team-best 24 points on 11 goals and two assists in 15 games.
