    Courtesy photo Heartland Assisted Living resident Margerette Greer holds a check for $800 that she and Heartland Assisted Living Admissions Coordinator Virginia Babb recently presented to Meals on Wheels board member Leigh Kingsmore of Blue Ridge Hospice. Greer, who served as a driver for Meals on Wheels for 27 years, and her fellow Heartland residents raised the $800 by creating and selling a cookbook, the proceeds of which will go to help the organization purchase the meals it delivers.
