More than 200 people attended a short ceremony and open house at the $5.4 million, 12,145-square-foot station at 5901 S. Havana St. in Greenwood Village on June 15. The spacious, 3-vehicle capacity station was under construction from August 2015 until late April after the demolition of its 3,266-square-foot, outdated predecessor in July of last year, according to fire authority officials.
