    Pet carriers containing the decomposing bodies of 11 cats were found May 4 in two locations in Rockingham County, N.C., according to local law enforcement agencies. Seven of the cats were found on a dead-end service road in the town of Madison, while the other four were found near U.S. 220 Business just south of Janet Rd. in Mayodan, the Madison Police Department and the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office said.
