    The Conway High School Varsity Soccer Team signed and framed Morgan McAlexander's jersey after her car accident on Dec. 11. People who visited Morgan McAlexander over the holidays decorated a Christmas tree in her room at Arkansas Children's Hospital with ornaments. A prayer vigil was held at the Conway Community Christmas Tree on Dec. 21. About 40 people started fasting from midnight on and arrived early at the Melton Cotton Event Center to get free cholesterol and blood glucose screenings that were done by Conway Regional Health System.

Tom McKinney was appointed the new Recorder/Treasurer and Matt Porter was appointed to the City Planning Commission to replace the seat vacated by Richard Snuggs who is newly elected to the city council.
