    The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office along with the Centerville and Greenbrier fire departments responded to 85-year-old Laverda Mitchell's residence on Lake Bennett Road in Greenbrier shortly after 6 a.m. after she called authorities and said her back door was on fire and she was disabled and couldn't get out of the house, according to a police report. When authorities arrived, "the home had large flames coming from it, with black smoke covering the home and yard," a deputy wrote in the report.
