    Steam locomotive Nickel Plate Road 765 is slated to travel across northwest Ohio on Tuesday to make its way from its home base near Fort Wayne to an excursion railroad in the Cleveland area. As with previous years' positioning trips between Fort Wayne and Cleveland, the steam engine will not follow an official schedule.

    The 63nd annual Toledo Radio Control Exposition - North America's largest and longest-running radio-control model expo - is Friday through Sunday in the SeaGate Convention Centre, 401 Jefferson Ave. Also known as the Toledo Weak Signals RC Show, the event, sponsored by the Weak Signals R/a C Club, typically draws more than 12,000 hobbyists and nearly 200 exhibitors. It showcases many types of flying drones, planes, cars, and boats.

    A Green Springs teenager was charged Monday after a crash that killed a 16-year-old passenger in her vehicle last fall, officials said. Tori L. Meggitt, 16, was charged with one count of aggravated vehicular homicide and two counts of aggravated vehicular assault, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

    The husband of a woman hit and killed by a Green Springs Rural Volunteer Fire Department truck has filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the department and the firefighter behind the wheel. Paul Riehm filed suit Tuesday in Seneca County Court of Common Pleas against the department and Seth Knieriemen, who on June 28 struck Lorri Riehm while driving in reverse at the Beaver Creek Reservoir in Adams Township, according to the suit.
