    The Green Island police chief and a police officer from neighboring Watervliet needed hospital care after they were exposed to fentanyl-laced heroin during an arrest at a local doughnut shop, police said. Chief Christopher Parker and the unidentified Watervliet officer suffered severe headaches, numbness and dizziness almost immediately after coming in contact with the substance on Dec. 9, police said.
