    A new owner of the Hilton hotel in downtown Albany will be spending $3.5 million to improve the 17-story hotel, which was renovated just two years ago, according to a story Thursday in the Albany Business Review. Located at State and Lodge streets, the hotel has been purchased by Great Neck-based United Capital Corp. from a subsidiary of Lone Star Real Estate Fund, a Texas-based investment firm, the Business Review reported.

Dr. Anthony Moschetto, 54, a Great Neck cardiologist, was arrested Tuesday at his Sands Point home for allegedly paying to set a fire to Dr. Martin Handler's Great Neck office and conspiring to commit murder.
