    An arrest was made in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at Sweet Frog in South Hanover Township on Thursday. Troy Anson Schweiger, 20, of Grantville, was charged with multiple counts of robbery, burglary, possessing instruments of a crime, terroristic threats and related offenses, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The Swatara Creek near Hershey reached 16.5 feet Wednesday, the second highest level since the weather service began keeping records, dating back to 1975.

    When the Pennsylvania Legislature passed revenue plans for the 2017-18 state budget, it expanded gambling in to include "mini-casinos" and video gaming terminals at truck stops. Municipalities wanting to prevent mini-casinos from popping up will have to vote to "opt out" before Dec. 31, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
