    Westbound traffic on Interstate 24 near mile marker 33 in Livingston County, Kentucky is back open after a semi-tractor-trailer fire at the 33-mile-marker, between the Cumberland River Bridge and Grand Rivers Exit 31. Fire crews got the call to the area shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday. KYTC says the truck is burned down to the frame.

    One lane is now open to westbound traffic on Interstate 24 near mile marker 33 in Livingston County, Kentucky after a semi-tractor-trailer fire at the 33-mile-marker, between the Cumberland River Bridge and Grand Rivers Exit 31. KYTC says the detour for westbound traffic from Eddyville/Kuttawa Exit 40 via US 62 westbound to Calvert City remains in place. Fire crews got the call to the area shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday.

    According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, westbound traffic on Interstate 24 is backed up near the Grand Rivers Exit in Livingston County, Kentucky due to a semi-tractor-trailer fire at the 33-mile-marker. There is not a detour in place while fire crews put out the fire or clean up the mess, however, KYTC is recommending drivers to find alternate routes, such as from Exit 40 at Kuttawa/Eddyville via U.S. 62 westbound to Calvert City.
