    The Itasca County Sheriff's Department says Bryan Jepson, 47, is believed to have gone missing Monday morning from the Arbo area, north of Grand Rapids. The man was last seen one mile south of Arbo Rd. Authorities say the man suffers from some mental health issues, but is not believed to be a threat to others or himself.

    The juvenile, who pleaded guilty to Assault in the Second Degree, appeared in Itasca County Court on Monday for a sentencing hearing. He was sentenced to 21 months in prison, but the court stayed execution of the sentence placing him on supervised probation until he turns 21. He is required to complete a long term mental health program, abstain from drugs and alcohol, complete 62 hours of community work service, and he cannot have possession of firearms or weapons.

    An 18-year-old Bemidji teenager appeared in court, along with three juveniles, for assaulting a staff member at a group home in Grand Rapids on Dec. 13. The Itasca County Attorney reports that Dacota Smith, 18, made an appearance in court on Monday for two counts of second degree assault and one count of third degree assault. Smith is set to appear in court again on Dec. 22. His bail has been set at $100,000 without conditions.
