    Grand Rapids Community College trustees next week are scheduled to choose one of three applicants to temporarily fill the board seat of Bert Bleke, who stepped down June 8. The deadline to apply to be appointed to the seat was Friday, June 9. Candidates will be interviewed Wednesday, June 14, and the appointment to fill the un-expired term made Monday, June 19. Bleke, who announced in May he was relocating to Wisconsin, term does not expire until Dec. 31, 2018. The new trustee will serve until the next regularly scheduled election and have the opportunity to run for a full six-year term.
