The court says Donovan Motley and James Metz II are not entitled to immunity in a lawsuit related to turning an old factory into a movie studio for a $10 million tax credit.

Police told The Grand Rapids Press Friday that Eric Scott Love's mother reported him missing on Dec. 16. Love's body was spotted Thursday afternoon near the Sixth Street bridge and pulled from the Grand River in Grand Rapids by a dive team.

    The Gerald R. Ford International Airport has finished a $12.3 million construction project with the expansion and renovations of Concourses A & B. The project added two new airline gates and passenger hold rooms, restrooms, Grand Rapids Magazine travel store, new carpeting and gate seating in both concourses. Concourse A also received updates to the food court while a new MI Tap Room Restaurant and Bar was added to Concourse B. Communications manager with the airport, Tara Hernandez, said that the addition was necessary after Southwest Airlines and U.S. Airways began adding more flights in and out of the airport.

    Michigan State Police have determined the identity of the body found in Berrien County's New Buffalo Township on Sunday. An autopsy was done Monday at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, but the preliminary cause of the woman's death is not being released until the toxicology test results are in.State Police and the FBI identified the woman's body using fingerprints that matched an arrested record from Chicago.

Democrats were upset when Cotter did not respect Minority Leader Tim Greimel's choice for the largely ceremonial post.Greimel publicly announced that Brandon Dillon of Grand Rapids would serve as the minority vice chair on the Appropriations Committee before committee assignments were made public.
