    The Louisiana Board of Pharmacy is holding formal hearings Tuesday to consider the applications from a handful of companies, two of which are in Baton Rouge, to be able to prescribe medical marijuana. The hearings were initially scheduled for March 27, but were pushed back to April 17. That location, which is currently at the top of the list of applicants, is off Essen Lane near Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center.

    A woman was killed in a crash Monday morning on I-10 near Gramercy and the driver who hit her is facing charges, according to investigators. Louisiana State Police identified the victim as Breanna Frazier, 24, of Baton Rouge.
