    A two-vehicle accident on Highway 67 this afternoon sidelined one semi trailer and sent an Airgas truck carrying several tanks of flammable oxyacetylene gas through a guardrail and into the embankment on the northbound side of the road. No one was injured, and DPS Trooper Barry Henry was on the scene, and said that the driver of the Airgas truck was coming into Graham on Highway 67 and fell asleep near the Salt Creek bridge about a quarter of a mile south of Fireman's Park.

    Due to sales-tax collections coming in below last year's projections, the City of Graham has voted to reduce its general fund budget by about 3 percent, or $328,910, with most of it coming from Graham's street, police and parks departments.     City engineers have determined that a pipeline along the bottom of Lake Graham is the best route to get well water from a large-scale well field north of town to the water treatment plant south of the lake. The pipeline is the next stage in the city's plan to supplement Graham's quickly drying public water reservoir, Lake Graham, with about 600,000 gallons a day of high-quality well water.
