    An appeal for financial assistance with the Five Island Lake dredging project resulted in the Palo Alto County Board of Supervisors developing a pair of proposals for funding. The proposals were discussed with members of the Five Island Lake Board Tuesday morning during the weekly meeting of the Supervisors on Dec. 16. Supervisors Linus Solberg and Ed Noonan each prepared proposals to address a request for funding for the continued operation of the dredge over the next three years, along with a request for the county's assistance in developing a new silt site for the project.
