    A Gouverneur man who was sentenced to probation for the death of a father and son in a 2007 car crash in Gouverneur was told he is now facing four years in prison during an appearance in St. Lawrence County Court on Monday. Kramer R. Weaver, 24, of 537 Route 11, was sentenced to five years of probation and granted youthful-offender status on June 1, 2009 for his guilty plea to a Superior Court Information charging him with felony criminally negligent homicide in a plea deal with the district attorney's office.

Little, 21 of 3 Rowley St., Gouverneur, was charged by city police with one count of DWI and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 2:13 a.m. Sunday at 400 Factory St. Police said his blood alcohol content was 0.16 percent. A BAC of 0.08 percent or higher is considered proof of intoxication under state law.

Troopers said on Jan. 31 Mr. Malone was found to be in possession of items stolen during a burglary reported about 6:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at a residence at 442 County Route 37, including a Poulan chain saw valued at $250.

Troopers allege that about wintertime two years ago, in an unknown location in the town of Russell, Mr. Gladle had sexual contact with a then-13-year-old girl by touching her under her pants.

The event provides fourth and fifth graders enrolled at Gouverneur Central School District and St. James Catholic School a chance to showcase paintings, sketches and other artwork they created in their school art classes this year. “It's important to give children a place to have their art on display in the community, not just in school,” said Marilyn C. Putman, the show's coordinator.

Fisher, 26, all of 533 Canton St., with two counts each of felony third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine and two counts of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. Mr. and Mrs. Ashley also were each charged with a misdemeanor count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine.
