Kennedy Center, The Berkeley County Prevention Board and the Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public the opportunity to rid their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs in an effort to prevent pill abuse. The event will occur on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents are invited to bring pills for disposal to Berkeley County Sheriff's Office at 223 North Live Oak Drive in Moncks Corner, or the Magistrates Office at 303 North Goose Creek Boulevard in Goose Creek.
