    A 15-year-old boy died Saturday after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Route 29 near Stewart's Shop in Broadalbin. According to the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, Ryan Frye, of Amsterdam, was stuck at approximately 9 p.m. by a vehicle traveling west through the intersection of South Second Avenue.

Fedullo, who finished her career as Amsterdam's all-time scoring leader with exactly 1,500 points, was named to the third team for the second straight season.

    In a desperately close meet, the Amsterdam girls track and field team won nine of 11 races on the track - all except the 100-meter dash and 4 800-meter relay - but Queensbury dominated the scoring in field events to take home a 71-70 win in a Foothills Council crossover meet Tuesday at Queensbury High School. Amsterdam was led by Olivia Lazarou, who won the 1,500 and 3,000-meter runs, and Gabby Stanavich, who captured the 100 and 400-meter hurdles.
