    Although Wednesday's rains from former Hurricane Newton did not produce the feared severe flooding, the Glenwood Ranger District of the Gila National Forest did see some flooding in Whitewater Creek, which the newly reinstalled Catwalk trail survived without a scratch. "As far as the Catwalk trail itself, it held up really well, as well as the picnic area," said Glenwood Ranger District recreation staffer Silas Davidson.
