A 42-year-old former security guard at a Phoenix strip club was arrested Monday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman who had come to the club to apply for a job nearly 17 years ago. The victim, a 26-year-old woman at the time, told Phoenix police she went to apply as a dancer May 16, 1998 at what was then the Kitty Club at 1702 E. McDowell Rd. and met the suspect for the first time, an officer said. Comment?
Glendale police have identified the officer who shot and killed a man suspected of pointing a gun at a woman at a bank drive-thru ATM on Tuesday night. Joseph Tassinari, 63, was shot by Officer Jacob Martinson after a stun gun proved ineffective and after Tassinari told Martinson he was armed, Glendale Officer Tracey Breeden said. Comment?
