Gila National Forest personnel lent an ear to area residents Tuesday night in Tyrone, regarding three big projects the Forest has before them - wide-open plans for a new land acquisition on Bear Creek, potentially loosening regulations blocking vehicles wider than 50 inches from certain paths in the Big Burro Mountains and planned decommissioning of roads in the Burros closed in the 2014 Travel Management Plan decision.
