With his teammates busy banging out 10 hits, Cardinals senior left-handed pitcher Grant Curavo breezed through the Gibsonburg lineup with 11 strikeouts in a five-inning no-hitter in an 87-minute game that was shortened to five innings by the mercy rule.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles , owners of the Toledo Assembly Complex where Jeep Wranglers and Cherokees are made, was fined $14,000 after two serious category violations were found at the plant at 4400 Chrysler Drive during a December inspection by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
