    The S.C. Department of Transportation and the National Guard have installed a flood barrier on Highway 17 between the Waccamaw and Great Pee Dee rivers, but officials said they still expect flooding to force the bridges to close at some point. Multiple roadways into the city of Georgetown could be cut off by floodwaters by the end of this week, officials said Monday afternoon.
