    Police say a 27-year-old man was intoxicated and using his cellphone when his car struck a lawn mower being driven across a central New York street. Officers in Seneca Falls say a 58-year-old man was riding a lawn mower in a crosswalk on Route 5 in the village around 2 p.m. Sunday when he was hit by a passing vehicle.
