    A La Crescenta woman agreed to plead guilty Tuesday to wire fraud for stealing about $2 million from two Los Angeles-based businesses, the United States Attorney's Office said in a statement. Claudia Alvarez Calderon, 45, admitted “she used the names of several non-existent or former employees who were no longer entitled to receive pay to fraudulently obtain wages and expense reimbursements from Onyx, Inc., a Harbor City-based manufacturer of earrings and ear piercing equipment, and Quadrtech, Inc., a Gardena-based company that finished and packaged the earrings and ear-piercing systems,” authorities said in a written statement.
