    A Gallipolis, Ohio man accused of attempting to run down an officer with the Mason County Sheriff's Department is due back in Mason County Circuit Court this month. James H. Moore, 32, is scheduled to appear for a pretrial hearing at 2 p.m, Oct. 23 with the trial set to go at 9:30 a.m., Nov. 3. Moore was indicted by the September term of the grand jury for attempted murder; destruction of property; fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference; bringing into this state, property stolen in another state; attempt to transfer stolen goods, breaking and entering, five counts; petit larceny; grand larceny.
