    A Friendship woman was extricated from her vehicle and transported to the hospital following a collision in front of the Wiscasset town office the morning of Thursday, June 16. Stuart Mason, 21, of New Harbor, was operating a 2006 Cadillac eastbound on Route 27, according to Wiscasset Police Chief Jeffrey Lange. Mason failed to yield when turning into the southbound lane of Route 1, Lange said.
