    I attended a Fredericksburg City Council meeting a few months back to speak for an initiative by a University of Mary Washington class-to follow the precedent set in Alexandria and look into renaming U.S. 1 within our city limits. The mayor had to stop half way through a presentation to explain how council meetings are conducted to the crowd.
