    Even though the Reese softball team was 9-6 in its first 15 games, coach Andy Behmlander saw his team accomplish a goal of standing up strong to competition. Reese beat Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port 15-0 and 15-0 in a doubleheader and also swept Cass City 6-0 and 14-1, and it then split with Frankenmuth in a 3-1 win and an 8-3 loss.
