    Through four waterlogged days at the 2015 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, thousands of loyal fans squished through the mud and mire to cheer on their heroes -- particularly 21-year-old Dallas phenom and Masters champion Jordan Spieth, who nearly delivered a storybook ending with a birdie on No. 18. In the end, Chris Kirk, a former Ben Hogan award winner for top collegiate golfer, earned the Colonial trophy with a par save at the last hole, edging Spieth and two others by one stroke.

    After a day of brief sunshine and clear skies, thunderstorms are expected to return to North Texas Monday afternoon, ending the Memorial Day weekend the same way it started - soaking wet. Thunderstorms should reach the western edge of the Metroplex about 1 p.m. and hit Fort Worth by 2 p.m. The most severe weather for Tarrant County is probably "going to be damaging winds," said Ted Ryan, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.
