    Fort Pierce police are investigating a fatal shooting overnight that killed a man and injured a woman on North 13th Street near Avenue D. Police said while the two victims, identified as Laborious Works and Amber Osmond, both 29, were sitting in a parked vehicle at 510 North 13th St., someone approached and fired numerous rounds into the vehicle for an unknown reason. Police said Works died of multiple gunshots wounds and Osmond is listed in stable condition with a gunshot wound to her lower torso.
