Gregory Gallegos, 29, and Nicole Zapata, 25, each were charged with three counts of child abuse after police found meth in the trailer in the early morning of Saturday, June 10. The drugs were "in close proximity to the children, right out in the open," said John Fryar, a Fort Lupton Police administrative sergeant.

School board members said that the "guaranteed maximum price" would be $6,776,938 for a new, 20,000-square-foot preschool and administration center at the southeast corner of Fulton Avenue and Dexter Street and $9,269,848 for upgrades at the high school.
