    The City Council on Tuesday night unanimously approved a deal with the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based International Swimming Hall of Fame to dive into Silicon Valley with a new museum that officials hope will bolster Santa Clara as a sports hub. The cross-country move has been in the works for the past 18 months and is coming to a head as the nonprofit's lease in Florida dries up in March after 50 years in the Sunshine State.
