    Anthony Martin Ish, 34, of Fort Hall, was sentenced on Thursday to life imprisonment with no parole by Senior U.S. District Judge Edward Lodge, Acting U.S. Attorney Rafael Gonzalez announced. A jury convicted Ish of second degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon on Feb. 14, 2017, following a one-week jury trial in Pocatello.

The suspect was stopped on Interstate 15 north of milepost 74. The suspect is currently held in Bannock County on federal charges of robbery on Indian Land .
