The investigation revealed a car, driven by Cody Samuels, 27, from Fort Drum, NY was southbound on State Route 180 a quarter mile west of Carter Street in the Town of Orleans when Samuels loses control of the vehicle, exits the east side of the road way and drives into a farm field.

    A Fort Drum soldier was killed Tuesday morning in a one-car rollover crash on Route 180 in the town of Orleans. State police said Cody L. Samuels, 27, Fort Drum, was driving south on State Route 180, near Carter Street, when he lost control of his 2005 Pontiac at about 8:50 a.m. The car exited the east side of the roadway, overturned and then ended up entangled in a wire fence in a farm field.
