    The local railroad, owned by CWR&NCo., is now undergoing a general overhauling and when completed will rank with the best roads in the state. Tunnel Number One, connecting the Pudding Creek and Noyo River bottoms, is being retimbered and enlarged so that any railroad car that is built will pass through with a safe clearance.
