    For those in the area who remember the dangerously narrow underpass and the old bridge that spanned Route One near the main gate at Fort Belvoir, it's our guess you were over the moon when the county tore them down in 2014. The bridge was part of a seven-mile spur that slithered from the installation up to the main tracks in Newington.
