    Most state senators and Assembly members in the region won't say if they support forcing their own branch of government to meet the same broad requirements for releasing records that the governor, state agencies, local governments, school districts and every other public body in New York must do under the Freedom of Information Law. Only four of the 11 lawmakers whose districts cross Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties gave definitive answers to that question this week, and all of them supported extending the law's full disclosure requirements to the state Legislature.
