    Citizens of Franklin will decide whether or not to build a brand-new building for Forest Park Middle School in a referendum to be held Tuesday, Nov. 8. In a meeting July 13, the board voted to send Option 3 for a brand-new school to the public over Options 1 and 2, both different levels of renovation to the existing school. The board made the decision to go to a referendum, but did not select an option to be voted on, at their meeting June 22. "The point is, 6th grade coming up to the middle school to alleviate pressure at the elementary school to align ourselves with the curriculum, how can we best spend that money? How can we be the better stewards of that money for the community dollars?" Asked Vice President Tim Neilson at the meeting.
