    A 49-year-old Rogersville man sustained what the Missouri State Highway Patrol described as moderate injuries last Tuesday, June 14, after striking a deer just east of Fordland on Highway FF. Trooper J.W. Choate said Douglas E. Watson was westbound on the state highway, about 3/10th of a mile east of Fordland, at 4:45 a.m. when his 2006 Suzuki GSX "struck a deer that entered the roadway, ejecting the driver."
