Molly Fox, public information officer for the town of Flower Mound said it was great news for commuters in the area who have been forced to detour around the road since flood waters at Lake Grapevine spilled over in May. As of Thursday afternoon, Grapevine was still 23.21 feet above conservation pools according to the Texas Water Development Board's lake monitor, but that's down almost 2 feet in a week after showing little progress for the past month.
