    Logan County is moving forward with plans to be part of a waste energy plant being constructed in Morgan County. During a business meeting Tuesday, the commissioners approved an agreement for solid waste disposition between the county and Energy Recovery Partners LLC. The agreement allows for transfer of municipal solid waste from Logan County Landfill to an energy facility to be located in Morgan County, where the waste will be utilized as feedstock for a pyrolysis process to generate a synthetic gas which will be burned to generate electricity.
