    NEWTON - The Hopatcong Middle School teacher who's accused of having sexual contact with a 14-year-old student posted $100,000 bail on Friday , New Jersey Herald reported. As reported by NJ Advance Media, Eric Strand, 57, of the Flanders section of Mount Olive, was issued a sexual offender restraining order last week barring him from having contact with the girl, her family or anyone under the age of 18. Strand, a social studies teacher at Hopatcong Middle School, was arrested Thursday on charges of aggravated criminal sexual contact and child endangerment.
