    Randy Grose, 56, was found dead about 2:35 a.m. Saturday inside his home, 1824 Sherry St. Police said Mr. Grose died of injuries during an assault and are investigating the case as a homicide. Preliminary autopsy results show Mr. Grose was strangled and stabbed multiple times.

    Northbound I-75 is likely to be closed for about seven months, and possibly longer, when the Ohio Department of Transportation detours traffic later this spring because of soil problems interfering with replacing two bridges over ramps at the I-280 junction in North Toledo. The detour will not be long - only about a mile - and will not require freeway motorists to use city streets except for one short piece of Central Avenue that will be closed to other traffic, according to plans ODOT will discuss during a news conference today to announce its Toledo-area construction schedule for 2016.
